Add Qasper to your WordPress website

Follow these 4 simple steps to add your Qasper AI receptionist. It takes about 5 minutes and you do not need any technical experience.

Before you start

Have your Qasper account and your WordPress administrator login ready. Keep this guide open while you work.

If you cannot see the Plugins menu in WordPress, ask the person or company that manages your website to complete the installation for you.

Add Qasper in 4 steps

Use the exact menu and button names below. You only need to save once.

  1. Copy your Qasper business code

    This code tells WordPress which Qasper agent belongs to your business.

    • Sign in to Qasper and open Channels.
    • Choose WordPress from the list of channels.
    • Find Business code and select Copy business code. Keep the code ready for step 3.

  2. Install Qasper Booking in WordPress

    Install the plugin directly from WordPress. You do not need to download or upload a file.

    • Sign in to your WordPress website. You can usually do this at yourwebsite.com/wp-admin.
    • In the left menu, select Plugins, then Add New.
    • In the Search Plugins box, type Qasper Booking.
    • Find Qasper Booking by qasperai. Select Install Now, wait for it to finish, then select Activate.

  3. Connect your Qasper agent

    Paste your business code and activate the website chat with one save.

    • In the WordPress left menu, select Settings, then Qasper Booking.
    • Paste the business code you copied into the Business slug box.
    • Leave Site-wide floating chat selected. You can also choose the chat label, color, and position.
    • Select Save & Activate Qasper once.

  4. Check Qasper on your website

    View the website as a customer and make sure the chat answers.

    • Open your public website in a private or incognito browser window.
    • Find the Qasper chat button near the bottom of the page and select it.
    • Type Hello and send the message. If your Qasper agent replies, the installation is complete.

Qasper is ready for your customers

Your Qasper AI receptionist can now explain your services, answer common questions, and guide customers to the right next step.

If you use Google Calendar, Calendly, or Cal.com, customers can follow your connected booking flow. If you do not use one of these booking options, Qasper can collect an inquiry and send the customer's needs and contact information to you by SMS or email.

If something does not look right

These are the most common questions. You will not need to change any code.

I cannot see the Plugins menu

Your WordPress account probably cannot install plugins. Ask your website administrator, designer, or hosting company to install Qasper Booking for you.

The chat does not appear

Refresh the public page once, then check that Site-wide floating chat is selected in Settings → Qasper Booking. If the chat is still missing, email us your website address and we will help you check the website cache.

I only want Qasper on one page

Clear Site-wide floating chat before saving. Edit the page, add a Shortcode block, and paste this shortcode:

[qasper_chat]

I want to remove Qasper

In WordPress, open Plugins → Installed Plugins. Find Qasper Booking and select Deactivate. You can activate it again later.
